Description of Riser Microducts HDPE
◆ MicroDucts are small, 5mm – 27mm in diameter.
◆ Available empty, with a single fiber cord (cable), or pull string pre-installed.
◆ Ideal for new construction as well as existing apartment, condominium, or office buildings.
◆ Pre-installed fiber cables provide a substantial cost saving deployment method for FTTX installations with a one-step placement of MicroDuct and fiber cable.
◆ Ships on small, easy to handle reels.

✦ SPECIFICATIONS/DETAILS Riser MicroDucts are made from fire retardant materials which are fully approved by the American ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) for Riser applications. ETL LISTED to UL-2024 & CSA C22.2 No.262-04 and UL-94 V-0 & CSA FT-4.
✦ FILL RATIO Choose the correct MicroDuct size based on the Outer Diameter (OD) of desired MicroCable. Dura-Line recommends a fill ratio of 50% to 75% for optimal cable placement performance. Several factors impact jetting distance including the condition of route, bends, and equipment.
✦ CONDUIT MARKINGS Permanent marking along MicroDuct includes: material, relevant standards, production info, and sequential feet or meter markings. Custom options available.
✦ CO-EXTRUDED LINING SILICORE is co-extruded with the HDPE jacket creating a super slick permanent lining for higher speed cable jetting and longer, easier cable pulls.
