Introduction
HDPE Dredging Pipe (High-Density Polyethylene Dredging Pipe) is a large-diameter conveying pipe manufactured from high-quality HDPE via extrusion molding or winding molding processes. It is primarily designed for transporting media containing solid particles or corrosive substances—such as sediment, mineral slurry, crushed stone, sewage, and sludge—and serves as core conveying equipment in fields including dredging engineering, mineral mining, and environmental protection.

Feature
Description of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Dredging Pipe
HDPE material inherently possesses excellent wear resistance. Certain products may be fitted with UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) linings, achieving wear resistance indices 4 to 8 times higher than those of steel pipes. This effectively withstands abrasion caused by solid particles such as silt and gravel, thereby extending the service life of the pipes. HDPE also exhibits outstanding chemical stability, withstanding corrosion from acidic, alkaline, and saline solutions, as well as sewage and chemical waste. It does not rust, age, or crack, making it ideal for conveying media under harsh working conditions.

| Nominal pressure (PN) is based on C = 1,25 and an operating temperature of 20°C. Weight is calculated using DN and Minimum wall plus 6% for use in estimating fluid flow. Actual ID will vary. When designing components to fit the pipe ID, refer to pipe dimensions and tolerances in the applicable pipe manufacturing specification. To obtain pressure in psi, multiply bar by 14.5 (1 bar ≈ 14.5 psi). | |||||||||
